Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the development and management of annual budgets and perform periodic budget analyses.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other personnel benefits.
Update and maintain employee policies in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
Work closely with external auditors during the annual audit.
Improve systems and procedures for financial reporting, budgeting, and employee benefits management.
Monitor cash flow and manage organization bank accounts.
Provide financial insights that help to make strategic organization decisions.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
A minimum of 3-5 years of financial management experience in a nonprofit setting, with a proven track record in financial reporting, budget management, and benefits administration
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with a globally distributed team
Preferred
A CPA or similar qualification
