Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of the client organization's existing financial processes, systems, and procedures.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process automation and optimization.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and understand pain points in the finance function.
Develop strategic recommendations and actionable plans to improve financial operations and enhance performance.
Design a roadmap for finance transformation initiatives, taking into account short-term and long-term objectives.
Align transformation initiatives with the overall business strategy and corporate goals.
Collaborate with technology groups and other alliances to bring best practices on various new technologies and tools (Like Digitalization, RPA).
Enable clients with data management best practices to help them become a data driven enterprise.
Work closely with IT teams and vendors to select, implement, and integrate finance technology solutions, such as ERP systems, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools, and reporting platforms. Perform the role of domain subject matter expert to provide functional inputs.
Ensure seamless data migration and system integration while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Develop financial models as per client’s requirement and conduct analysis to support decision-making processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Provide inputs to enhance management reporting and dashboards as part of data visualization to provide key insights to senior management and other key stakeholders of client organization.
Evaluate and improve financial controls, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies of client organization.
Recommend best practices for client to mitigate financial risks and improve internal audit procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to finance transformation.
Conduct market analysis and provide opportunities assessment in digital and analytics consulting and applications market niches.
Supporting sales teams/ market facing teams in building Finance campaigns and driving planning and integrating business information, data and technology architecture for clients.
Bringing in best of HCL offerings contextually, working with other service lines to create shared success model.
Ability to understand Process Classification Framework (PCF), underlying activities and its impact on digital information technology.
Participation and execution of projects related to businesses processes like Finance Process Reimagination, Process Reengineering, Organization Model Transformation.
Ability to apply the contextual and latest technologies including AI, ML, RPA etc. in the process optimization.
Working with customers on Finance transformation roadmaps including Mergers, Acquisitions, Demergers etc.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) as a Finance Consultant, Financial Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on finance transformation projects.
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
Experience in working on finance-related technologies, such as ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms.
Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities, with a focus on innovative solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred
A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are a plus.
