Responsibilities
Analyze monthly, quarterly and YTD financial results & P&L for completeness and accuracy. Identify trends in weekly/monthly production numbers.
Compile and analyze key performance indicators on various areas of the business and determine the impact on forecasting Premium, Reinsurance, Commissions and Expenses.
Assist in the preparation of 2 P&L forecasts per quarter projecting current and future quarter results.
Research and document unusual activity, trends or occurrences and inform divisional personnel of the findings.
Assist in the Strategic and Annual Plan process to create production plans by geography and line of business.
Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external business partners.
Partner with PRS leadership to assist in meeting their business goals.
Proactively identify opportunities to introduce process improvements and operational efficiency.
Prepare impactful presentation materials for senior management meetings.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
2+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience at large public company or Big 4 auditing firm
Insurance knowledge is a plus
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Experience with General Ledger Systems such as Peoplesoft
Strong business and financial acumen
Ability to work effectively and independently with other disciplines and all levels of management/staff throughout the organization
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
Strong analytical skills including the use of various internal system applications to gather and analyze data
Ability to problem solve and work autonomously, manage multiple projects and people, and prioritize appropriately
