Responsibilities
Analyze revenues and expenses to confirm proper recording
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assists in the preparation and updates of financial projections for internal projects and maintains analysis of actual vs. projected results
Maintain and review accuracy of general ledger balances
Assist in the preparation of the annual operating, capital expenditure and cash flow budgets
Assisting with month-end and quarterly closing activities
Evaluate and interpret accounting and financial information
Maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity of financial data

Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Three years of relevant work experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Highly analytical and strong problem solving ability
Must be able to contribute to the streamlining of accounting processes within the department
Flexibility in performing multiple cross-functional tasks
Preferred
Nonprofit industry experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and Blackbaud software will set you apart as a top candidate
