Responsibilities
Leads preparations of budgets, budget templates, reports, variance analyses, as well as support in the development processes for budget preparation, results analysis, and reporting function.
Develops excellent understanding of business functions of the companies responsible for and make suggestions based on data and financial insights.
Develops a working relationship with directors, managers, and other key stakeholders and serves as a first point of contact for any questions related to budgeting, analysis, and forecasting.
Serves as a practice area expert, develops reports, dashboards, and key pieces of analyses for given practice areas, contracts, programs, and lines of business. Maintains industry knowledge related to the assigned practice areas.
Constantly looks for areas of improvement based on data and business insights and provides recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Understands key financial and management accounting principles, can apply them in practice, and explain them to non-technical audiences.
Uses advanced Excel skills (such as Index/Match, Vlookup/Xlookup, Filtering, Pivot tables, Sum-Ifs, Nested Ifs, macros) daily.

Required
Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in Finance or related field
3+ or more years of experience
Strong knowledge of financial analytics, budgeting and reporting
Background in accounting and finance
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work additional hours during peak sessions
Ability to make suggestions to management based on analysis
Ability to work independently or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
Experience utilizing HCM Oracle a plus
Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint including Macros, Pivot tables, and vlookups/index-match
Financial Accounting, audit and financial statement analysis
Build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide a high level of customer service to all companies within the Fedcap Group
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and ethical practice
Analyze, make decisions, and resolve situations/problems effectively within the scope of responsibilities
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
