Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders
Serve as the principal conduit for managing system requirements between the business and the software development team throughout the duration of a project
Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
Define and document requirements
Analyze and prioritize requirements
Write functional specifications
Model the requirements/specifications
Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams
Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis
Manage scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Lead development of common standards and tools
Assists in operational rollout and support

Required
1-3 years of related experience
Must have worked for a large financial services or investment management firm
Strong analytical, financial data analysis, business analysis, financial modeling, SQL and SQL Queries experience
Strong experience in writing Business Requirements
Agile experience
Financial or investment services institutional work experience
Strong hands-on work experience with MS Excel
Experience pulling, extracting and analyzing financial data sets
Strong professional communication skills
Direct client exposure work experience
Must be able to work EST hours
Minimum of a BA degree within the related field
SQL: 1 year (Required)
Writing Business Requirements: 1 year (Required)
Financial Services or Investment Industry: 2 years (Required)
Financial Business or Data Analysis: 2 years (Required)
