Responsibilities

Responsible for creating, processing for approval and submitting approved job invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure all billing information is in compliance with contract requirements, applying correct indirect burden and fees.
Resolve any billing discrepancies by verifying source documents including purchase orders, travel expenses, shipping expenses, timecard and other expenses.
Prepare and submit rate adjustment invoices for cost contract.
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow-up with customers as needed.
Data entry of Subcontractor and Consultant information as assigned.
Ensures all work is entered correctly in accordance with established procedures with attention to detail.
Enters and posts assigned Subcontractor/direct Consultant invoices in NDTI’s ESP21 billing system.
Serves as support for the close-out process.
May prepare, coordinate and process a variety of actions including, but not limited to: internal subcontract closeout documents, final invoices, verification of payment data, and de-obligation of funds.
Remains flexible and responsive to emergent requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe condition.
Balances team and individual responsibilities.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.

Required

AA/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
2-5 years of experience in a related field
Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and budgeting
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Microsoft Word - Be able to create and format documents and tables
Microsoft Excel - be able to create worksheets complex formulas
Microsoft Power Point - Be able to create slides and perform basic flow charting
Understand and be proficient user of state-of-the-art ERP systems, such as ESP21
Flexibility, Teamwork and attention to detail are a must
Must be able to communicate clearly and manage multiple deadlines
Skills: Accounting, Business Administration, Clerical and Office, Billing, Invoice Processing

Preferred

2-5 years of experience in a related field preferred
Degree substitution possible based on actual experience supporting billing and subcontracts
