Responsibilities
Verify accuracy of patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment details
Obtain insurance authorizations for diagnostic imaging tests through various portals
Monitor and track authorization requests to ensure high attainment rates
Support process improvement initiatives and engage in service enhancement opportunities
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA

Required
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a clinical setting
Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment
Strong communication skills to assess customer interactions and provide personalized service
Ability to maintain attention to detail and strive for accuracy in all tasks
Preferred
Experience utilizing computers and pertinent office equipment in a healthcare environment
Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT and Diagnosis Codes, and insurance authorization policies
Knowledge of Epic-ADT referral management processes and procedures
