Required
Bachelor’s degree required; CPA license preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 1 year experience working in accounting, math or finance field.
Strong analytical skills with experience in managing and interpreting complex financial data sets.
Proven ability to analyze healthcare finance activities and develop effective solutions for various scenarios.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including a deep understanding of formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Solid understanding of healthcare financial accounting and reimbursement processes, including S10 reporting, cost report preparation, wage index filing, DSH, Medicare bad debts, and more.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving reimbursement challenges.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and integrate them into consulting practices to enhance efficiency.
Strong reputation and positive references from previous employers, clients, and professional contacts.
Desire to thrive in a dynamic health system consulting environment, with a focus on client satisfaction and contributing to business growth.
Preferred
