Responsibilities
In this role you will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for projects in development and operations as well as for upper tier consolidating entities
Investigate budget to actual variance, perform analysis and report on results to management
Participate in the audit process, including gathering and explaining support to external auditors, drafting footnotes, and tie outs
As we continue to grow, this role will weigh in on process improvements and help roll out and enforce those processes and internal controls for our expanding team
Work cross functionally across the organization especially, Asset Management, Construction, Development and FP&A teams

Required
2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles
Mid-level experience with Excel (SumIF, Pivot tables, and V-lookup)
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, agencies and vendors
Capability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Willingness to wear multiple hats and take ownership of full financial reporting requirements
Preferred
Experience with or knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus
Experience with renewable accounting and public company reporting is highly desired
