Responsibilities

Design, create and deliver timely and accurate standard periodic reporting and ad-hoc reporting on various operational and financial metrics, providing analysis and interpretation as required

Assist with the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly operational and financial reporting packages

Analyze current and historical financial results, perform variance analysis of key metrics, identify trends and recommend actions

Prepare and present operational and economic models to support strategic initiatives

Support senior management team and department leaders with in-depth analysis

Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget and quarterly forecast

Prepare, analyze, and distribute departmental budget vs. actual results

Develop and track key operational and financial performance metrics against the company’s strategic objectives

Assist in the revenue and cost analysis process; provide trends and forecasts; explain variances; and recommend actions

Assist in various efforts to improve the efficiency surrounding the data collection and reporting by developing automated processes and applications

Work closely with Business Intelligence team to automate production of standard periodic reports

Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications

Participate on special projects and perform other tasks as assigned

Cross-trained in duties as assigned
