Responsibilities
Perform ongoing monitoring for Wise’s strategic partners in line with established processes that involves assessing consumer and business documentation for quality on an ongoing and regular basis;
Be responsible for your assigned partners and manage communication and findings to account managers, partners, and other stakeholders;
Keep up to date with updates and changes in Wise’s process and internal risk-based approaches to KYC/CDD/EDD;
Document findings and escalate concerns to relevant compliance teams, leads, and account managers where and when relevant;
Drive calls with partners to answer queries, relay decisions, and discuss paths forward to facilitate growth;
Monitor the financial crime metrics of a partner’s customer-base on an ongoing basis to ensure the partner’s customer-base remains within risk-appetite; when/where it doesn’t, follow proper protocol to document, address, and escalate findings and identify solutions with relevant stakeholders;
Develop and maintain close relationships with Wise Platform’s product, account, and implementation managers, as well as product, regulatory, and financial crime compliance teams as a subject matter expert on partner ongoing monitoring;
Manage the ongoing reputational and adverse media monitoring of integrated partners, review and document findings, address, escalate, and work with internal and external stakeholders to find solutions.
Work across Wise Platform teams, participating in plannings and other relevant team meetings and events;
Undertake ad hoc team projects as needed.

Required
Excellent verbal and written command of the English language (additional languages are a plus)
Excellent cross-team communication with an ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Able to defend and evidence risk-based risk-based decisions cross-team as well as to external parties
Able to multi-task and take responsibility in challenging situations
Keen eye for detail and are able to extrapolate risk based on partner provided information and documentation
Punctual, independent, proactive and willing to get things done
Motivated and accountable with the ability to self-organise in the absence of day-to-date instruction
2+ years of experience in AML or related financial crime roles, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in managing the onboarding of enterprise level business relationships
Able to synthesise complex requests from multiple parties into tangible deliverables within tight deadlines
