Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the flight test engineering on an unmanned air system.

Test and report all systems and architecture.

Support future design changes and engineering modifications.

Help define and execute a thorough flight test on multiple articles throughout the design and development of the platform.

Required

UAS Pilot experience

Engineering background

Experience supporting military requirements analysis, and mission performance / effectiveness analysis

Desire to support integration and development of new and existing systems in order to identify, integrate, and accurately represent specific mission systems technologies

Ability to develop and conduct a thorough test plan capable of evaluating the various platform systems

Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering design evaluations for a diverse mission where everyone’s input matters

Desire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an exciting capability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing a new unmanned air-system

Experience working on multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Preferred

Test Pilot school

Experience performing modeling & simulation to support defense-related projects and architecture. Including analysis, documentation, and presentation of results

Experience in Aerospace and Defense development environments

Understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
