Responsibilities
Formulating liquid and lyophilized protein therapeutics
Preparing formulation and assay buffers, containers, and closures for pharmaceutical development studies
Learning analytical assays, protein formulation characterization techniques, and stability testing
Analyzing data, interpreting results, and noting significant deviations
Maintaining oversight of day-to-day laboratory activities
Managing inventory of raw materials and drug product packaging
Documenting and retrieving scientific data in electronic lab notebook

Required
Bachelor’s degree in protein biochemistry, biophysical chemistry, analytical science, pharmaceutical science, physical chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field with 0-2 years of analytical or drug formulation development experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Technical skills to be able to conduct experiments in research or development lab
Basic analytical techniques used for protein formulation characterization
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
Strong communication, documentation and report writing skills
Taking initiative
Passionate and driven
Preferred
Prior experience in development of protein formulations and stability assessment
Hand-on experience with HPLC
pH measurements
Buffer preparation
Drug formulation development experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
