Responsibilities

Deliver large scale renewable energy projects by leading the design, installation, and commissioning of fixed/floating substructures.

Utilize knowledge of offshore structures design/study/analysis processes and techniques to ensure project success.

Manage substructure design, manufacture, and installation while adhering to industry standards and health and safety regulations.

Identify risks and opportunities early in projects and take appropriate actions to optimize outcomes.

Collaborate in a multicultural environment, consortium, or joint venture, demonstrating leadership and influence qualities.

Required

Degree qualified in civil / mechanical / structural / naval engineering or equivalent is required.

Previous experience in offshore industry is highly desirable.

The candidate will have a track record of delivering large scale renewable energy project.

Demonstrable experience in a similar engineering role and experience in the design, installation and commissioning of fixed/floating substructures is highly desirable.

Knowledge of offshore structures design/study/analysis processes and techniques is essential.

Direct experience of substructure design, manufacture and installation is essential.

Specific knowledge of associated standards and industry best practice as well as a strong appreciation for health and safety regulations.

Preferred

Empirical knowledge from direct experience in offshore wind farm substructures project engineering/package management is preferred.

Familiarity with design, construction and commissioning of electrical transmission assets is desirable.

Proactive approach to optimizations and improvements.

A pro-active approach to project and contract management in order to identify risks and opportunities early and initiate appropriate actions.

Experience of working in a multicultural environment, in a consortium or joint venture.

Strong autonomy, leadership and influence qualities, with the ability to work in networks.

Proven experience within a group support function within international environment.

Familiar with advanced specialist engineering software.
