Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules reviewed by senior leadership.
Assist in analysis and commentary for variance of actuals versus prior year and forecast or budget.
Serve as financial administrative backup to financial reporting system (EPBCS).
Provide insight and recommendations to streamline current reporting process.
Engages regularly in special projects related to company-wide finance & accounting efficiency improvement goals.
Learns and navigates through multiple reporting systems

Required
An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience of increasing responsibility within accounting, finance, and/or financial planning and analysis management preferably in a manufacturing organization.
Strong to advanced skill level with Excel formulas including index, match and v-lookup functions and experience with Microsoft Office suit (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Strong organizational and execution skills. Must be capable of moving assignments forward with high quality execution and minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
Positive and solution-orientated attitude and approach.
Effective communication (written and verbal); clearly, concisely and with context communicate objectives and expectations within the organization.
Ability to critically assess and simplify processes and controls, and challenge business drivers and risks.
Ability to travel a minimum 3 times annually (domestic), less than 5%.
Preferred
Prior experience with reporting software such as Essbase, Hyperion or BPC a plus.
Understanding of and experience with the interpretation and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles with experience in internal or external reporting a plus.
