Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems used to support new initiatives in the Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) and Advanced Aerial Mobility (AAM) space.

Build and ship scalable web services.

Take requirements, break them down, and implement them with well-written code.

Required

3+ years of full-stack software development using Java/Kotlin or JavaScript/TypeScript

3+ years of software engineering experience building scalable web services

Experience with React

Curious and eager to learn new technologies

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with SQL and experience with RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle)

Development experience with Spring Boot or Node.js

Experience with AWS (EKS, DynamoDB, Lambas, Aurora, SQS, etc)

Docker

Typescript

(Drone) Pilot coder

Are good with finding the best way forward in ambiguous situations

Have a bias toward action and getting results

Find beauty in a nicely written unit test

Aren’t discouraged by complexity and enjoy digging in deep

Communicate effectively and kindly with many different roles
