Responsibilities
Analyze legacy data and processes to recommend a development plan for a new application using AWS tools and services.
Analyze user and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time constraints.
Apply coding and testing best practices.
Apply secure code documentation.
Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other stakeholders to address application performance requirements.
Develop secure code and error handling.
Evaluate factors such as required reporting formats required and ability to share data/processes.
Incorporate security into the design and implementation (i.e. DevSecOps concepts).
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required
Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lambda)
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
AWS Certified Developer
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiar with MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases
CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, HTML, and APIs
3+ Years Experience
US Citizen
Must have an Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
AWS certification
Preferred
Certified Scrum Master
Experience developing in an AWS cloud environment
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
