Responsibilities

Given a user story, create a design document for updating or creating services within a distributed service mesh.

Design solutions that adhere to Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, and Service Oriented Architecture principles.

Model service contracts and validation schemas using Smithy IDL and Zod.

Build and maintain backend services using Typescript and Node.js.

Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).

Work with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, IAM, API Gateway, AppSync, CloudWatch, and S3.

Develop responsive user interfaces using React and Typescript.

Integrate with GraphQL APIs to provide seamless data interaction on the Frontend.

Monitor and respond to any outages or issues in the system, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerts using CloudWatch and other AWS tools.
