Responsibilities
Leverage expertise in geospatial libraries like ReactMapGL and DeckGL to design visually captivating maps and spatial data visualizations.
Optimize performance of geospatial applications using dynamic tiling, static tiling, and raster tiles.
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in TypeScript and JavaScript for front-end development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering tasks with the product roadmap and deliver user-centric geospatial products.

Required
Proven experience as a Front End Engineer (React JS) with a focus on geospatial products
Familiarity with geospatial libraries such as Mapbox (React MapboxGL) and/or DeckGL (With React)
Familiarity with backend API architecture (Node.js)
Experience with using Postgres to store, process, and access geospatial data (PostGIS)
Understanding of dynamic and static map tiling, as well as raster tiles
Strong coding skills in TypeScript and JavaScript
Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with product teams and clients
Ability to translate product requirements into engineering tasks
Preferred
Experience with product design is a plus, enhancing your ability to create user-centric geospatial applications
Comfortable working remotely
