Responsibilities

Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment

Work primarily in Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Dev Express, and ASP.net.

Extend our current API backend to support our next generation of application capabilities.

Extend our current integrations to additional third-party partners.

Assist with performance tuning our backend to maximize our performance.

Creating test scenarios designed to verify functionality and evaluate if code updates meet design expectations.

Assist with creating testing plans for application features.

Verify, report, and track defects found in testing and confirm resolution of defects as needed.

Required

5 years' experience in building complex software applications using Visual Basic.

Experience building web applications.

Experience in designing and integrating RESTful and SOAP APIs.

Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

Experience in unit/integration testing.

Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS web site knowledge.

Software Development Life Cycle knowledge.

Highly self-motivated and driven. We work 100% remote and expect our team to manage their day-to-day workload.
