Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using modern web technologies
Design and implement front-end and back-end components and services
Collaborate with team members to translate requirements into technical solutions
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices
Implement security and data protection measures
Integrate third-party APIs and services as required
Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance
Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Participate in code reviews, discussions, and feature planning meetings
Maintain and improve software development processes and practices

Required
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
This job is 75% remote with 25% travel (about 3-4 times a year)
5+ years' experience in web development using front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks)
3+ years' experience with back-end development and server-side languages/frameworks (Go, Python, and Node.js)
Experience using libraries for building user interfaces
Knowledge of Microservices, Docker Containers and cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes etc.
Basic devops management; deploying servers and configuring SSL / DNS / Databases etc. Experience working with Amazon Web Services a plus.
Ability to write basic CRUD queries for PostgreSQL, mySQL and mongodb
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Comfortable using unit and behavior test frameworks, libraries and tools
Understanding of responsive design concepts and practices
Familiarity with commercial and open-source development environments and tools for purposes such as source control, continuous integration, IDE etc.
Exposure to Agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban
