Responsibilities

Work with architects and other developers to implement software for strategic projects

Provide accurate level of effort estimates based on business requirements

Document development work with appropriate collateral as needed

Participate in technical design and code reviews to ensure quality and best practices are maintained

Perform as technical lead on smaller projects, and be a collaborative member on larger projects

Use the development technology appropriate for the project at hand

Develop software in a mixed Windows and PaaS type environment

Work effectively in cross-functional/cross departmental teams

Coach and mentor junior developers

Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status and delivery timeframes

Foster innovative team culture and process improvement during development phase

Work off-hours nights and weekends may be required on occasion for mission-critical needs

Required

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in designing, modifying, writing, and implementing software programming applications; financial service industry experience helpful.

Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies

REST/SOAP web services, C#/C++, .NET

Excellent communication/collaboration skills

SQL query optimization skills

JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Angular experience required

Salesforce knowledge preferred

Experience with Unit Testing or Testing Standards (preferred).

Familiar with software development best practices

Authorization to work in the United States is required.
