Responsibilities
Collaborate with the UX/UI team to understand website designs, user flows, and functionalities.
Translate design mockups and wireframes into well-structured, semantic, and responsive code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Implement core website functionalities, including: user registration and login, location sharing services (secure and user-controlled)
User matching algorithms based on compatibility and owner preferences.
Uploading and displaying pictures of dogs and owners
Secure communication features between matched users
Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Apply basic SEO principles to improve website discoverability in search engines.
Write and maintain clean, documented, and maintainable code for both the website and mobile app (developed separately).
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required
7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of UX/UI principles is essential
Extensive experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL)
Strong understanding of AWS architecture, services, and best practices (RDS, ECS, EC2, Cloudflare, Cognito, Lambda, S3, SNS, etc.)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
A passion for dogs (a major plus!) and a desire to contribute to a fun and innovative project!
Preferred
Experience with a JavaScript framework or library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python)
Experience with building APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for data exchange between website and mobile app
Experience with secure user authentication and authorization protocols
Experience with location based services
Experience with building accessible websites
Experience with serverless architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code)
Have a dog (anything with paw print)
