Responsibilities

Deliver high quality software solutions to front office integration challenges, by working independently within an agile team while maintaining implementation schedules

Partner with Business Analysts to optimize product features, UX and manage technical debt and ensure they map all the way up to corporate objectives

Interact with other Development functions to ensure requirements are fully understood, broken down sufficiently and estimated for correctly & consistently

Participate in Scrum processes (from a functional perspective) e.g. Daily Stand-up, Backlog refinements and grooming

Opportunity to be involved with architecture decisions as it relates to major software initiatives

Able to be self-motivated and driven, while working in a dynamic fast-paced environment

Required

A proven track record of developing front office applications for buy side firms

Experience writing and utilizing service oriented RESTful API services

Professional experience in C#/.Net framework with experience building distributed solutions and web applications

Proficiency in Python

Experience with database systems, with knowledge of SQL Database Schema, Index, and Stored Procedures

Self-motivated candidate who can work as an individual contributor and collaboratively with the team

Experience with Agile framework and Scrum methodologies

A familiarity in Portfolio Construction, Performance, Attribution, and Risk as relates to building software around needs of Portfolio and Risk Managers
