Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert on Manhattan Associates (MA) Transportation Management System (TM Active) or Blue Yonder Transportation Management System (BY TMS), based on an in-depth knowledge of application features/functions and the unique business requirements of the client
Provide subject matter expertise to guide Client to best practices to optimize use of MA TMS / BY TMS
Play an active role in discovery and design to aide and/or facilitate gather inputs on Client side to align design perspective
Provide guidance/best practices for Proactive and Extension development
Leverage this expertise to understand the requirements expressed by the business, translate the requirements into solutions, and work with the business colleagues to manage the resulting change
Prior Operations Experience is crucial; the candidate must be able to manage implementation from a business operations standpoint and also have application knowledge
Delivering business results that reflects creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative and the following abilities:
Managing requirement documents, issues list, and providing project status updates
Identify functional and technical requirements of the MA TMS Active / BY TMS application for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale distribution channels
Have a basic understanding of operational processes, business processes, and information flows required to produce an effective supply chain
Review integration mapping documents and validate integration testing results are as expected
Manage and produce the basic functional and technical design documents
Validate basic Technical Design documents in collaboration with developers
Facilitate and support functional acceptance testing: test plan, test data, expected results and acceptance criteria
Engaging in a contributor role to practice growth through white papers, case studies, proposals, and statements of work development
Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, fostering a productive teamwork environment, leveraging diverse views to encourage innovation and helping develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback

Required
Full capability to engage with all MA TMS Active/ BY TMS functionality at a Super User level
5+ year experience in Consulting or Industry
Transportation Operations Experience
TMS expert- ideally for retail and/or even cross industry
Requires functional depth with enough technical acumen to help guide solution path specific to provide insights to gap resolution
Strong Functional knowledge of supply chain Transportation/Logistics with focus on distribution applications
Hands-on working experience with MA Active/ BY Transportation Management Modules
Implementations, Upgrades, optimization experience with MA Active TM Suite
Experience/hands on project experience – Design, configuration, implementation, training, post support
Trouble shooting issues, ability to measure key transportation management metrics, identify opportunities vs risks
Use of technique and skill set of Manhattan Associates
Works directly with the customer project team (primarily on site) during configuration, testing, training, and implementation phases.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise during the implementation.
Works independently on smaller, moderately complex projects/assignments that have direct impact on project results and client success.
Works with customers to test and implement interfaces between MA products or external systems
Captures and escalates project issues with clear and accurate details.
Facilitates design for client specific enhancements.
Performs professional-level work that typically requires processing and interpreting basic issues
Identifies problems and suggests possible solutions, and takes appropriate action to resolve
Plans basic aspects of work within specified deadlines with some need to change the priorities
Possesses a foundational understanding of supply chain solutions and processes
Preferred
Experience with Manhattan TMS and Active TMS / BY TMS preferred
