Responsibilities

Develop functional safety work products and requirements for electronic modules associated with automated and autonomous driving.
Ensure products meet the highest safety standards.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
3 - 5 years years of experience in functional safety engineering and product development
Solid understanding of ISO26262 with an emphasis on part 5 of the standard and its application to electronic systems
Experience with safety analysis methods, such as DFA, FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA
2 - 3 years of Electronic Design principles and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Understanding of major automotive vehicle systems such as Advanced Driver-Assistance (ADAS), Motion Control, Automotive Network, and Powertrain
Experience in writing and comprehending software and hardware requirements and interfaces
Experience in automotive product release and specification process
