Responsibilities

Validate, document, test, and deploy applications.

Identify and prevent defects in products and services on a continuous basis.

Work with software engineers, system engineers, and DevOps engineers in the correction of any defects found.

Support efforts to test the solution for accessibility and usability compliance.

Assist with the development of overall test plan and test artifacts, identify records, help manage defects to resolution, and identify and communicate any testing issues or risks to developer and test lead.

Create a process for identifying potential compliance issues and documenting issues in user stories for prioritization by the client for resolution and pro-active testing for Section 508 compliance for functionality available to end-users.

Create 508 test artifacts.

Manage discrepancies identified during testing and collaborate with the software development team to resolve software bugs.

Set testing schedules and provide progress or status to project management and client stakeholders.

Required

Ability to obtain a security clearance (FDA Public Trust)

3+ years of experience with the creation of test cases, test suites, requirements matrices, and end-of-test reports

3+ years of experience as a software engineer or tester

Experience working in an Agile environment and with application lifecycle management (ALM)

Experience with 508 compliance review

Experience with analyzing and documenting software test results

Experience with designing, implementing, tailoring, and documenting automated test frameworks used on testing projects

Ability to support efforts to test the solution for accessibility and usability compliance

Ability to assist with the development of overall test plan and test artifacts, identify records, help manage defects to resolution, and identify and communicate any testing issues or risks to developer and test lead

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Agile: 3 years (Required)

508 Testing: 1 year (Required)

Preferred

Experience with Agile SDLC
