Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based applications and services
Provide technical guidance and best practices to GCP's adoption and GCP's services
Provide application design guidance to modernize existing applications or write new applications
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution
Configure access and security, ensure performance standards by configuring Auto-Scaling Solution to meet varying load requirements
Automating the build and configuration of IaaS based solutions in Google Cloud Platform
Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud resources and data

Required
5+ years or more of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture
3 or more years of experience in designing, developing and deploying projects in GCP.
Strong understanding of GCP Suite including GCP Suite such as Compute, IAM, GKE, CloudRun, BigQuery, DataFlow, Data Fusion, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Dataplex, Dataproc, Networking, Cloud Logging, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, CloudSQL etc.
Good understanding of Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.
As a strategic GCP Cloud Architect on the team, you will provide technical guidance and best practices to GCP's adoption and GCP's services.
Provide application design guidance to modernize existing applications or write new applications.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Configure access and security, ensure performance standards by configuring Auto-Scaling Solution to meet varying load requirements.
Automating the build and configuration of IaaS based solutions in Google Cloud Platform
Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations and their impact on Pricing
Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud resources and data
Prior experience working with container technology such as Docker, version control systems (GitHub/GitLab), build management and CI/CD tools (Concourse, Jenkins), and monitoring tools (App Dynamics, etc.)
Experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, puppet, or chef or Deployment Manager to automate provisioning and management tasks.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
