Gene Editing Technology Sales Representative

Responsibilities
Spearhead sales expansion in the commercial/industrial sector
Engage new prospects while expanding sales within existing clients
Generate new meetings and deliver technical presentations to prospective clients
Communicate with the scientific team
Manage trade shows

Required
Bachelor’s degree in molecular or cell biology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in biotechnology, with preference for experience in cell line development and cell culture (i.e. media, transfection reagents, equipment or services).
Must be capable of traveling up to 50% and managing trade shows.
Strong understanding and ability to quickly learn gene editing technologies, including CRISPR-based, transposases, and other genome editing tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a diverse technical audience.
Must have grit, perseverance and a willingness to grind until a deal is done.
Preferred
Advanced degree is a bonus.
