Responsibilities
Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management on all business-related issues.
Oversee the work of outside counsel and coordinate legal matters handled by them.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations applicable to the company’s operations.
Manage the legal functions of the company, including litigation, contract negotiations, intellectual property rights, and compliance issues.
Develop and lead corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters.

Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Strong judgment and analytical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently on complex legal matters.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Preferred
Preference to be admitted to practice in CA, NY, WY and/ or FL.
Experience working with a startup or SaaS company is preferred.
