Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine solutions
Adhere to preventative maintenance programs
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
Consult with the Director of Engineering for work orders and repairs
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Interact positively with members and guests, maintaining professionalism
Follow company policies and safety procedures
Remain calm and alert during emergencies

Required
High school diploma or GED is required
Minimum of two to three years' experience as a General Maintenance Engineer in a large size (250+ rooms) high volume luxury hotel or resort
Food safety certification
Preferred
Post-Secondary Certificate (Vocational Construction Trades, Mechanics and Repairers, Precision Production Trades) is preferred
