Responsibilities

Manage project tasks with the support of project managers.

Perform fieldwork and subcontractor oversight.

Communicate with and mentor staff.

Prepare and review technical reports.

Ensure quality execution and support site safety.

Evaluate site data to progress projects toward regulatory closure.

Required

3 - 6 years of experience working on environmental assessments and remediation projects

Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as proficiency with MS Office including Word, and Excel.

Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Excellent attention to detail, as well as organization and multi-tasking skills

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related discipline

Knowledge of MA regulations and guidance documents

Experience conducting environmental field investigations and data collection/sampling

Experience with various contaminants including petroleum compounds, metals, chlorinated compounds, etc.

Office experience related to scheduling, lab coordination, data evaluation, technical report writing, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)

Preferred

40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification with up-to-date 8-hour refresher

Experience in hydrogeological and conceptual site modeling a plus

Experience conducting Vapor Intrusion (VI) investigations a plus

Knowledge of RCRA & CERCLA regulations and HAZMAT assessments beneficial
