Responsibilities
Help identify client needs, then design, plan and execute solutions
Locate record drawings in Filenet
Update as-builts into the GIS database
Serve as a technical subject matter using GIS software
Support and train staff, contractors, and inspectors to use and edit data in Terrago
Work with field crew and electrical engineers to markup sets of drawings
Work with Office of Underground Coordination to support field operations
Work with internal resources to address client’s need for materials
Review technical requirements to meet data development objectives and perform quality assurance on data deliverables received for inclusion in the GIS.
Analyze data when needed
Independently execute and deliver GIS projects of moderate to significant scope and complexity.
Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment
Perform other duties, as assigned

Required
B.S. in information systems, GIS, Geography, or related field
5 or more years of experience as a GIS Analyst
Proficiency in ArcGIS and ESRI products
Proficiency in database analysis
Proficiency in Python
Proficiency in SQL queries
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizations skills (with both internal and external clients)
Exposure to other civil engineering disciplines
Preferred
Experience working with mid-to-large municipalities and/or complex infrastructure projects
