Responsibilities

Utilize geospatial software such as ESRI ArcPro and Autodesk Civil 3D for designing, creating, analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise geospatial data.
Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise GIS products like maps, applications, and dashboards.
Collect and maintain geospatial data using technologies such as GPS and LIDAR scanners.
Perform system administration tasks including administering ESRI products, providing end user support for GIS devices and software, and managing system and user licensing.
Engage with stakeholders to understand and document their geospatial needs, lead GIS data requirement conversations, and document requirements.
Define, maintain, and enforce enterprise GIS data standards and documentation.
Troubleshoot GIS data and applications in accordance with IT standards and policies.
Collaborate with MAC staff and consultants to develop and support authoritative geospatial data and products.
Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand business strategy and future needs.
Engage in enterprise-wide projects, initiatives, and strategic priorities to ensure alignment with eGIS and IT roadmaps.

Required

Bachelor degree in GIS, IT, or related field, or in lieu of a degree, 7 years of relevant IT, GIS, or related experience.
Three years of IT experience with an emphasis on support of Geospatial data, systems, and related technologies.
Three years of discovery, design, documentation, and implementation of Geospatial solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development life cycle of enterprise and geospatial data and solutions.
Knowledge of the ESRI suite, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, and Survey 123.

Preferred

Demonstrated experience with the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent to digitize CAD drawings into a GIS format.
Demonstrated experience using construction documentation to interpret and digitize geospatial data.
Previous experience in the aviation or construction industry.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with cloud-based ecosystems such as AWS and Azure.
Demonstrated experience soliciting and documenting user requirements.
Demonstrated experience providing technical support to GIS end users.
Demonstrated ability to analyze strategic business objectives and align those objectives with technologies and solutions.
Experience with data modelling and knowledge of ETL methodologies and technologies such as Safe FME or ModelBuilder.
Knowledge of and experience implementing and enforcing data governance processes and standards.
Knowledge of Project Management processes and methodologies.
Knowledge of and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
