Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the global Accounting and Finance team, ensuring efficiency and alignment with corporate objectives.
Manage the global month-end financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Consolidate global financial statements for month-end close, including cash flow preparation (manually handled in Excel).
Act as the primary financial liaison with external auditors, tax preparers, creditors, senior management, and private equity investors.
Drive business process improvements and workflow re-engineering initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead and manage software system implementations, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption across teams.
Ensure compliance with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition standards, overseeing proper application across the organization.
Prepare in-depth financial analysis and presentations for the Board of Directors, highlighting key insights and trends.
Develop and execute financial strategies, focusing on risk mitigation, opportunity forecasting, and long-term growth.
Provide high-level financial reporting and analysis, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
Consolidate and manage the global budget process, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic priorities.
Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting and optimizing liquidity across the global business.
Monitor and manage debt compliance, ensuring adherence to financial covenants and reporting requirements.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, driving operational efficiencies across departments.
Ensure quality control over all financial transactions and reporting processes, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
Manage transfer pricing policies and intercompany accounting
Conduct trend and variance analysis to track financial performance against budget and forecast, recommending corrective actions.
Lead the global annual financial statement audit and statutory audits, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
Oversee Quality of Earnings (QoE) due diligence processes to assess financial health and integrity.
Manage 409A Valuation due diligence, ensuring accurate valuation for stock option grants and investor reporting.
Lead due diligence efforts in mergers & acquisitions, supporting integration planning and post-deal financial reporting.
Supervise billing, collections, accounts payable, commissions, and procurement functions
Oversee U.S. and international tax compliance, including federal, state, local, and sales tax reporting and filing.
Direct treasury operations, including cash management, bank relations, and liquidity optimization.
Ensure accurate debt compliance calculations, including scorecards and bank reporting, in line with financial covenants.
Manage post-merger integration activities, including staffing, system implementations, and consolidation of business processes.
Oversee commercial insurance renewals and ensure comprehensive coverage for global operations.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience
10+ experience as a senior-level operational accounting leader in a mid-sized company or division of large corporation
Prior experience with management of onshore and offshore accounting teams
Critical thinking as it pertains to financial strategy
Ability to work with all levels of management
Big 4 Public company accounting experience is required

Preferred

Preference will be given to candidates with the CPA or CMA designations.
Understanding of technology services business is a plus
Experience in a private equity backed environment
Basic understanding of business law
