Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the global payroll process, including processing, compliance, reporting, and system administration.

Develop and implement strategies to maintain efficient and accurate payroll operations across diverse international jurisdictions.

Stay current on evolving global payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.

Collaborate with People Operations and other departments to ensure alignment of payroll processes with HR policies and company strategy.

Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.

Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve overall efficiency.

Maintain payroll software systems to optimize efficiency and data security.

Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all global payroll processes.

Configure payroll systems to accommodate diverse global payroll needs.

Ensure adherence to all local labor laws and tax reporting requirements in all relevant jurisdictions.

Prepare and submit accurate and timely payroll reports

Maintain meticulous payroll records for audit purposes.

Required

5+ years running payroll in a small team set up or independently in the US, Canada and preferably multiple European countries (UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Poland, etc.)

Ability to navigate payroll systems efficiently, process payroll data accurately, and generate reports (e.g., ADP, Safeguard, Deel etc.)

Working knowledge of HR information systems like Workday, ADP, etc.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Google Suite
