Responsibilities

Drive Government Sales: Actively promote and sell the company’s products/services to federal, state, and local government agencies through GSA schedules and other government contract vehicles.
Manage GSA Contracts: Oversee the GSA contract lifecycle, including initial bid submission, pricing, compliance, and renewal processes. Ensure all transactions adhere to GSA standards and regulations.
Build Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies to identify their needs, propose solutions, and secure contracts.
Develop Sales Strategy: Craft and execute a targeted sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals for government sales, leveraging knowledge of the public sector and government priorities.
Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, compliance, and finance teams to ensure accurate delivery, reporting, and invoicing for government contracts.
Market and Industry Insight: Stay informed about changes in government procurement regulations, GSA updates, and relevant industry trends to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to sales leadership.

Required

Minimum of 2-4 years’ sales experience, with at least two (2) years in government or GSA sales.
Strong understanding of GSA schedules, FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), and government procurement cycles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to interact with diverse government stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and respond to government RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement documentation.
Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
