Responsibilities

Assisting Engineers by performing routine aspects for engineering assignments

Performing design calculations, sketches, and technical comparisons

Reviewing and editing project specifications

Preparing and editing designs and drawings recommended by Project Engineers

Preparing portions of project documents

Researching code and regulatory requirements

Researching design options, component specifications, and documenting findings for Project Engineers and Job Manager

Responding to contractor’s questions and preparing alternate designs as needed under the guidance of Project Engineers

Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing utilities

Engineering in Training (EIT) CertificationStructural EngineeringAutoCADRevitModelingDesign Software

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree is a plus

Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred

0-2 years of structural engineering experience; internship experience is a plus

Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit knowledge a plus

Knowledge of modeling and design software as applicable
