Responsibilities

Oversee the financial aspects of grants and contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Monitor grant expenditures, ensuring adherence to funding source regulations and internal policies.

Prepare accurate financial reports, including cash flow projections, financial statements, and grant-specific reports.

Collaborate with program managers to provide timely financial information for grant reporting purposes.

Assist in developing and preparing grant budgets in collaboration with program staff and senior management.

Support the annual budgeting process, aligning grants with overall organizational objectives.

Ensure strict adherence to grant funding guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Work closely with program managers and auditors to address findings or recommendations related to grant finances.

Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in grant accounting and reporting.

Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and systems.
