Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement innovative graph database solutions leveraging Amazon Neptune.
Define node and relationship types, along with their properties, to capture the rules effectively.
Establish data modeling best practices specific to AWS Neptune, ensuring query efficiency and data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable database architectures.
Optimize database performance, tuning queries and infrastructure to ensure high availability and low-latency responses.
Develop and enforce database administration policies, standards, and procedures.
Provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support for graph database environments.
Ensure data security and integrity by implementing robust access controls and encryption standards.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of database systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in graph database technologies and recommend improvements, as necessary.

Required
Proven experience as a Database Architect, with a focus on graph databases and Amazon Neptune.
Strong understanding of graph theory, data modeling, and query languages such as Gremlin and SPARQL.
3+ years of experience with AWS services and infrastructure, particularly Amazon Neptune.
Proficient in database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex database concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including automation and CI/CD pipelines, is a plus.
Programming services with Go as a language is a plus.
Certifications in AWS or database management.
Familiarity with other graph databases such as Neo4j or OrientDB.
