Responsibilities
Translate complex messaging into creative, engaging, audience-focused, on-brand designs across numerous digital and print platforms for NYU Arts & Science departments and faculty, the Graduate School of Arts & Science, the College of Arts & Science and Liberal Studies.
Promote the NYU Arts & Science brand and its distinct entities in design, video, and photography for email, social media, merchandise, presentations, newsletters, posters, signage, recruitment advertising, websites, etc. with an understanding of visual design trends and best practices.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Digital Media and Design
3+ years Relevant experience in graphic design, art direction and creative communications strategy.
Experience working in an advertising agency, internal communications department, or design studio with multiple clients and a variety of design projects.
Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Experience with Canva.
Exceptional composition, design, typography, photography, and illustration skills.
Excellent command of English grammar and syntax.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to simplify, clarify, and illustrate complex concepts and thrive in a busy, multifaceted environment.
Preferred
Video production, editing and animation.
