Responsibilities
Envision, create and lead best-in-class design experience for consumer and higher education prospect campaigns.
Develop imaginative and creative design assets, branding and templates for marketing campaigns.
Provide a creative “voice” by experimenting with innovative ideas and evolving brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, design and produce print and digital creative content.
Support branding rollout across all platforms and maintain the CIA brand.
Assist in directing photo shoots, touch up photos, and support video programming.
Develop logos, infographics, banners, presentations, and signage.
Support graphic needs for web, social, and multimedia teams.
Partner with the Copywriter on projects, file and archive completed work, and seek cost-effective solutions.
Stay updated on design platforms and technology.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related Graphic Arts degree.
Minimum five (5) years of graphic design experience including print.
Proven experience with digital and print publishing, social media, content marketing, photography and web design.
Previous experience developing concepts against creative briefs to ensure they meet strategic objectives.
Familiar with effective brand rollout, including application of logo in various formats.
Understanding of digital and print platforms.
Understanding of print media.
Excellent organizational, project management and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of brand personas, brand voice and brand management.
Strong problem solving/analytical/critical thinking skills with ability to oversee a project from concept through delivery, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills required. Must have demonstrated ability in organizational, time management, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to evaluate data to make informed decisions.
Proficiency and personal engagement with social media tools.
Strong creative and visual sense in design and typography, with attention to detail.
Strong photo direction skills.
Strong brainstorming and conceptual skills to transform an idea into an effective communication.
Strong presentation skills with an ability to handle constructive critiques of work.
Strong computer skills working in Mac/PC environment; high proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Must be available to work nights and weekends as required due to business needs.
Preferred
Previous experience in food/hospitality industries.
Familiarity with higher education environment.
Familiarity with motion graphics.
