Responsibilities
Support a large-scale federal government client’s visual identity through expert graphic design, visual communications, and storytelling.
Collaborate with experts, researchers, and various teams to create and implement graphic design for internal and external campaigns with diverse audiences.
Create graphics and illustrations for various communications materials, such as publications, flyers, and conference exhibits.
Produce compelling visual content, including graphics, infographics, images, photo illustrations, and multimedia content for social media, email, online and print products, data visualization projects, outreach, briefings, and various aspects of media relations.
Find creative ways to visually communicate research findings on, at times, sensitive or controversial topics.
Support other graphic design-related tasks, as needed.
Attend on-site meetings in Washington, D.C. as requested.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
Three years’ experience in graphic design, illustration, brand design, and infographics
Minimum of three years’ experience in graphic design for social media and websites
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Basic understanding of Adobe After Effects and Premiere
A portfolio that showcases graphic design capabilities
Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (federal government background check)
Preferred
A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality
High attention to detail
The ability to receive constructive feedback and creative guidance
Experience working successfully in a team environment
Experience supporting a government or federal agency
