Responsibilities
Conducting primary and secondary research to identify customer needs, competitors, and market insights
Translate research insights into actionable product strategies that satisfy unmet customer needs
Accurately and clearly document research findings, meeting updates, and key decisions in the thrv platform
Collaborate with developers, designers and other stakeholders to ensure that product development and delivery align with customer needs
Prepare additional documentation as needed, such as meeting agendas, reports, emails and client presentations
Present at and/or join internal and client facing meetings as requested and approved by thrv

Required
At least 3+ years of experience conducting research and analysis related to customer insights using qualitative methods
At least 1+ year(s) of product management or product lifecycle experience
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Ability to translate complex concepts into easily understood language
Clear and precise communicator including strong business writing skills
Excellent listening skills and a consummate learner/researcher by nature
Self-motivated and highly organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize among competing demands
Experience collaborating asynchronously and remotely in cross-functional teams
A bias for action when conducting research under short turn-around times
An interest in learning a new research framework
Preferred
Master's or Ph.D. in a social sciences field, with a preference for Linguistics, Sociology or Anthropology.
Bonus points go to researchers who also have experience in non-research roles at companies (e.g. product management, product marketing)
