Responsibilities
Craft and execute solutions with the latest advancements in Guidewire Policy Center.
Lead technical design aligning it with business goals and IT strategies.
Enhance the functionality of the Guidewire ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership and post-implementation ownership of Guidewire Policy Center products.
Manage onshore/offshore development teams for Guidewire product implementations.
Optimize Guidewire applications for performance and scalability.
Implement secure software development practices and architectural standards specific to Guidewire configurations and integrations.
Utilize Agile SCRUM methodology and tools in a technical leadership capacity.
Manage DevOps processes including Builds, CI/CD Pipelines, and Version Control.

Required
At least 8 years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center development, including experience as a Technical Lead on at least three full-scale commercial policy product implementations.
Demonstrated leadership and post-implementation ownership of Guidewire Policy Center products.
A minimum of 8 years leading and managing onshore/offshore development teams for Guidewire product implementations.
Over 10 years of Java development experience, with Guidewire Policy Center certification preferred.
Expertise in Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, and integrations.
Proven experience with Guidewire Rating engine and configurations.
Knowledge of Guidewire Renewal API and data migration strategies.
Familiarity with ALM best practices for code versioning, integration, release management, and maintenance of Guidewire Policy Center products.
Experience with Guidewire application partitioning and optimization for performance and scalability.
Proficiency in secure software development practices and architectural standards specific to Guidewire configurations and integrations.
Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and tools (TFS, Rally, JIRA, etc.) in a technical leadership capacity.
Skilled in managing DevOps processes, including Builds, CI/CD Pipelines, and Version Control.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Commercial P&C insurance knowledge is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at guiding teams to solutions.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
