Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Guidewire platform (ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter).
Customize and configure Guidewire modules, including ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter, to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define technical specifications and system requirements.
Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire and other external systems.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, following industry best practices.
Perform unit testing and support the QA team in system testing and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support for production systems, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables.
Support deployment of new functionality and enhancements in the Guidewire platform.
Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory requirements for insurance applications.
Assist with the mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior developers.

Required
Strong experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter, including configuration, implementation, and customization.
Solid knowledge of Guidewire Development Framework (GOSU, XML, and Javadocs).
Proficiency in the integration of Guidewire products with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, Web Services, etc.).
Strong programming skills in Java, GOSU, and other relevant technologies.
Experience with Guidewire integration tools like Guidewire Studio, ClaimCenter Integration, and PolicyCenter Integration.
Knowledge of Guidewire's data model and experience with database operations (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile development environment.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Guidewire Certification (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or Integration).
Familiarity with other Guidewire modules such as BillingCenter, ProducerEngage, or Digital portals.
Experience with cloud deployments or containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements for insurance companies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
