Responsibilities

Analyze information to determine plan layout and modifications

Assemble and modify equipment to meet special needs

Build, test, and modify product prototypes using computer simulation models

Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and security needs to determine hardware configuration

Monitor and modify equipment to ensure system conformance with specifications

Required

5-7 years of experience in the field

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Experience in design verification or architecture

Strong background in scripting, automation, and coding for hardware design

Experience with Python (3+ years of experience)

Experience with Verilog (3+ years of experience)

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.) (3+ years of experience)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Preferred

Creativity, communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability

Team player, detail-oriented

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles

Understanding of telecommunications systems, engineering science, and technology

Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software
