Head of Bioprocess Sales AMS

Responsibilities
Develop/Optimize AMS Go-to-Market Strategy for Bioprocess sales in close collaboration with the Bioprocess Unit and the AMS market region team.
Manage, maintain and balance the required resources between Sales, Application Support, Sales Support and others to maximize revenue and profit
Collaborate closely with regional and global BPU service teams to deliver on a superior customer experience
Accountable to deliver AMS annual sales revenue growth target (incl. all Bioprocess Products and Services)
Drive opportunity and funnel management (CRM) and provide a reliable forecast of expected sales and order entry as well as on a unit level for production planning
Deploy effective pricing and discount strategy and policies in AMS according to the global guidelines
Develop and implement channel strategy in AMS including but not limited to dealers and eChannel in Alignment with BPU Channel Management
Accountable for managing and forecasting the expense-budgets in Sales and Sales-Support
Ensure customer-focused approach to increase customer satisfaction and retention
Coach and develop team members to improve selling and business development skills; improve team morale and motivate teams to have high engagement and drive for success
Establish metrics and KPIs to track and measure performance
Be a role model for Eppendorf’s Vision, Mission, Values and be a driver of positive change
Collaborate closely with marketing team to deliver high value campaigns and participate in conferences/seminars as a team
Capable to work in a highly matrix environment and collaborate with non-Bioprocess stakeholders in the market region to drive initiatives and projects for Bioprocess business
Strong interaction and collaboration with other BPU stakeholders to deliver global Bioprocess goals and drive global initiatives
Strong interaction and collaboration with the Bioprocess Unit is required to execute Bioprocess business and commercial strategy

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent
8+ years of relevant management experience
Experience in leading direct sales and business development teams
Proven experience managing distributors in the AMS region
Experience in AMS market selling capital equipment
Strong network with key customers and partners in the region
Wholistic business experience working with functions such as finance, supply chain, marketing & service
Motivated by change and ambiguity; ability to drive business with constant improvement intentions
Willingness to travel regularly and ability to understand and work in culturally different markets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Managerial level knowledge of finance
Strong working knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a matrix and multi-cultural environment
