Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on the insurance claims sector, with an emphasis on marine insurance and other salvage asset categories.
Leverage existing industry knowledge to forge strong, trust-based relationships with insurers, brokers, claims adjusters, and other key stakeholders.
Build, train, and lead a high-performance team of business development professionals, focused on scalable growth.
Create and implement efficient lead generation and qualification processes, using best-in-class CRM and lead management tools.
Develop and refine the sales pipeline, from initial lead contact to closing, ensuring a streamlined and effective workflow.
Set and exceed ambitious sales targets; be comfortable with performance-based compensation, using data-driven insights to improve and optimize efforts continually.
Approach each day with an ownership mentality, adapting quickly to change and delivering results in a fast-moving environment.
Utilize and optimize CRM systems and lead generation tools to drive business development efforts.

Required
Deep knowledge of marine insurance, claims processes, or related insurance fields preferred.
Proven track record in business development, with specific experience in scaling teams and processes from scratch.
Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and managing a team, with strong organizational and motivational skills.
Proficient with CRM systems, lead generation tools, and data analysis for business development purposes.
Willingness to work long hours in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to achieving and exceeding performance-based goals.
Self-starter mentality with a drive to innovate, solve problems, and achieve outstanding results.
Preferred
Prior experience in the insurance industry or working closely with insurance claims professionals is a strong plus.
